Hi there! My name is Peter and welcome to my music blog! I’m a professional musician who talks about everything music-related. From testing and rating 3rd party gear, to talking about cool jazz theory gems, to making playing techniques more efficient, to discussing my own gear, along with discussing recording techniques.
What About The Name Wratem?
I always love doing play on words, anagrams etc. Wratem is a mix between writing and rating music stuff.
About Myself
I am a Berklee College of Music Alumni and all together have been a musician for 20 years, working professionally for 15 years. I’m an educator, but more importantly a recording artist who has a unique twist to getting his music out there.
Why This Blog?
The purpose of my blog is to write, and rate (write + rate = wrate ‘m), everything there is to discuss when it comes to music performance, recording and education. I’ve found over the years that writing down my findings and sharing them with others is very beneficial for the community as a whole.
The matter of fact is that as musicians, we’re always looking to do things better and faster. With that comes everything from education, to technique. Whether that’s your ability to perform technical things on your instrument, or using DAW techniques to capture your sound better.
I’ll be discussing everything here to become a better musician, and rate approaches and decide whether they work or not.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach to me at contact(@)wratem.com. And I look forward to reading your comments in the comments about your experiences and thoughts.
Peter
